Grand Democratic Alliance (GDA) Secretary General Safdar Abbasi announced staging a protest outside the Sindh Assembly tomorrow.
“Five parties will stage a protest in front of the Sindh Assembly,” Safdar told the media after a meeting of GDA, PTI, JI and JUI.
The alliance has been up against what it called election manipulation. The newly-elected Sindh Assembly members will take oath tomorrow.
Flanked by leaders of other allied parties, Safdar said after deliberations, everyone decided to stage the protest.
He added: “It was the most rigged election in history. We are not ready to accept these elections.
"The newly-elected members of the allied parties will not take oath. We will hold a meeting tomorrow to decide the future course of action."
JI leader Hafiz Naeem said the PPP and MQM went for seat adjustments in Sindh while we opted for protest. Only PTI and JI got votes in Karachi, he claimed.
