SCBA Secretary Salman Mansoor suspended

The Supreme Court Bar Association (SCBA) on Friday suspended its Secretary Salman Mansoor.
According to sources, the SCBA Executive Committee approved Salman Mansoor’s suspension. Sources said that Salman has been accused of misusing his office. Responding to his suspension, Salman said that SCBA rules do not prescribe suspension for anyone.
One official cannot suspend the other. He said that even the Central Executive Committee of the PPP could not suspend anyone. He said the association does not have the authority to suspend anyone. He said the SCBA president had suspended him verbally.
