Shahid Khattak announces contesting election against Pervaiz Khattak

Former provincial minister for Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Shahid Khan Khattak on Sunday announced contesting an election against former federal defence minister Pervaiz Khan Khattak from Nowshera.
According to the 24News HD TV channel, he clarified that he had resigned before the public meeting held at his 'Hujra' (an office for social meetings).
The sources said the former minister said that he will defeat by a big margin to Pervaiz Khattak in the constituency in the election.
The sources said he also said that public service is his mission in politics and he tried to serve people during his ministership.
The sources said Shahid Khattak said the people of Nowshera are with him and he tendered his resignation following their wish.
