A Chinese national clubbed to injure his countryman over a money transaction dispute near Dheri Hasanabad in Rawalpindi, the 24NewsHD TV Channel reported on Wednesday.

According to rescue officials, the injured Chinese citizen was shifted to the hospital after receiving medical assistance.

The injured man was identified as Liu Chen, rescue officials said.

Later, police reached the spot and started an investigation.

The altercation took place over a transaction dispute, police said.
