College holidays in Sindh extended amid heatwave and anticipated rainfall

The Sindh College Education Department has announced an extension of holidays in light of the ongoing heatwave and expected rainfall.

According to the 24NewsHD TV channel, the department has also issued a notification of the extension of holidays in the colleges.

As per the notification issued by the department, the new academic session in Sindh's colleges will now commence on August 15.

The holidays have been extended until August 14, providing students and staff with an extended break due to the severe weather conditions.

Yesterday, the Sindh Education Department also decided to extend summer vacation till August 14 in the wake of the heatwave and expected heavy rains.

The department issued a notification stating the activities related to the August 14 celebrations.

The minister said all private and government schools will organise events to mark Independence Day with national zeal.
