Lahore District Court has granted a three-day physical remand of  Amina Arooj, allegedly involved in the honey-trapping case relating to renowned writer and director Khalilur Rehman Qamar, reported 24NewHD TV channel.

Judicial Magistrate Nabila Amir presided over the hearing, considering the police's request for a thorough investigation.

The police argued that Amina Urooj's remand was crucial for the ongoing investigation to recover the assets associated with the case.

They emphasized the necessity of interrogating Urooj to uncover further details and accomplices involved in the honey-trapping scheme that targeted Qamar.

Judicial Magistrate Nabila Amir approved the police's request to further investigate Urooj, to recover assets linked to the case.

Meanwhile, the court ordered that the other eleven suspects be sent to jail, where they would undergo an identification parade, a standard procedure to verify their involvement through witness identification. The judicial magistrate agreed to this request, ordering the eleven accused to be detained for the identification process.
