LHC grants Bushra Bibi protective bail in Okara corruption case

The Lahore High Court on Friday has approved protective bail to Bushra Bibi, wife of PTI Chairman Imran Khan, in connection with corruption in an Okara road project, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
LHC’s Justice Amjad Rafiq heard application of Bushra Bibi, who was present in the courtroom along with her lawyer.
Bushra’s counsel informed the court that a case has been registered in Okara and his client wanted to join the investigation against her but she fears arrest.
The lawyer urged the LHC to grant her protective bail which the court granted until June 26.
PTI worker discharged from arson case
An anti-terrorism court in Lahore on Friday discharged PTI leader Robina Jameel in torching Shadman Police Station case.
The court ordered that Ms Jameel should be released if she is not wanted in any other case.
ATC Judge Abhar Gul Khan presided over the hearing.
