It is said that the law is blind and Punjab Police are proving it literally.

Notorious for their high-handedness and brutal tactics, Punjab Police remained a laughing stock every other day with one blunder after another. Ironically, the mindset of the police from a matric or middle pass junior officer in a police station and those who come in the high offices after toiling hard to pass the CSS exam remain at the same level and hardly one can find any sensible, cultured or civilized official in the Police service.

The same has happened once again in Chiniot when a father brought her four-month-old child to the court for bail after the police have registered an FIR against the infant.

The infant, Husnain Shahzad, has been booked by the police for the violation of the Punjab Sound Act.

District Police Officer Bilal Zafar has taken the notice of the incident and has asked the SSP Investigation to present a report in this regard.

However, he did not take any action against the officials of the said Police Station and they remained in the capacity to commit further blunders at the cost of the honour and lives of the people.
