Punjab CM abolishes PKLI board, notifies Prof Dr Majeed as new head

Punjab Chief Minister Pervez Elahi has abolished the board of the Pakistan Kidney and Liver Institute (PKLI) which was formed on the orders of Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif seven months ago, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
Punjab CM has constituted a 14-member new board of PKLI.
The chief minister removed the PM Sharif appointed PKLI Head Dr. Saeed Akhter from his post as the board of PKLI has been abolished.
Renowned surgeon Prof Dr. Abdul Majeed Chaudhary has been nominated as the new Chairman of PKLI.
Professor Anwar A Khan, Muhammad Haider Amin, Khusro Pervez Khan, Dr. Khalil Ahmed, Umbreen Irfan, and Dr. Fatima Batool have been included in the new board of PKLI.
PKLI dean, PKLI hospital director, and secretaries of specialized health, finance, and planning and development department.
The new board of the PKLI has been appointed for three years.
While, the previous board of PKLI included Dr Amjad Saqib, Mustafa Ramday, Arif Saeed, Dr Masooma Saeed, Biaghum Yawar Ali and senior journalist Mujeeb ur Rehman Shami.
