Ishaq Dar acquitted in assets-beyond-means reference

An accountability court in Islamabad on Monday acquitted former finance minister and PML-N senior leader Senator Ishaq Dar in assets-beyond-means reference, reported 24NewsHD TV channe.

AC judge Muhammad Bashir while pronouncing the reserved verdict remarked that no evidence was found against Ishaq Dar by the National Accountability Bureau (NAB).

In a written statement submitted in the court, the NAB concluded that they did not want to pursue the case further and they also have no objections to the acquittal of Ishaq Dar and other accused in the case.
