Earlier in an interview, talking about the delay in Selahaddin Eyyubi, Humayun Saeed said:
“In the start, people gave a lot of news about Selahaddin Eyyubi, it was quite hyped up and that is the reason why people got worried when they didn’t hear anything about it, well, the drama soon going on the shootings and it will be aired in five to six months.
The set of Selahaddin Eyyubi is grand and huge, and I think it’s the biggest collaboration that Pakistan has ever done with any other industry or international media, it is huge, and a few Pakistani actors will also work in it so that people can connect that it’s a collaboration of Pakistan, I can’t say anything about working in the drama because of the language barrier, it is being shot in Turkish language, maybe I would do a short character. In Pakistan, it will air after a year, but in Turkey, it will go on air in six months.
