Shakargarh woman stabbed, strangled after torture

A mother of five children was brutally tortured before being stabbed and strangled in Shakargarh, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Monday.

According to police, the incident took place in Bhawanipur in the jurisdiction of Shah Gharib police station.

“There was a noose around her neck, and she was carrying a mark of some sharp-edged tool on her left eye,” police said.

“Her left eye was popped out. She was identified as Memona Shehzadi,” they added.

The police registered a case on the complaint of the woman’s husband and started investigations.
