US envoy Donald Blome visits social enterprise ‘Ghar Par’

US Ambassador in Pakistan Donald Blome said on Monday that the social enterprise, ‘Ghar Par’ was quite useful for encouraging working women, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
During his visit to the Defence Housing Authority (DHA), Lahore along with the country’s Consul General in Lahore, Ms. Kristin K. Hawkins, the US envoy said he was quite pleased to be there. “The programme had started a few years ago under the US’s entrepreneurship programme,” he said, adding, “Such businesses are really necessary for strengthening the country’s economy.”
He, on the occasion, thanked the project team for hosting him.
The company had, in 2016, had participated in an entrepreneurship competition and had also attended a training session.
