Three children drown in Ravi River

Rescue 1122 team recovered dead bodies of three children who drowned in Ravi River near Lahore, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Friday.

The incident took place in Shafiqabad area near Ravi Ravi. All the dead children belonged to the same family.

Police sources also revealed that according to initial probe, the children went to Ravi River for taking bath.

Police sources said that they were investigating to determine whether it was an accident or not.

The children were later identified as Naseeb Ullah who was six years old, Amir Hamza was seven years old and Qudratullah was nine years old.

Later Rescue 1122 team handed over the dead bodies to their heirs.

Further investigation was under way.
