Widespread condemnation of Kashmiri footballer’s killing by Indian forces

There was widespread condemnation of the killing of a Kashmiri footballer by the Indian occupation forces.
As Indian brutality continued unabated in Occupied Kashmir, footballer Amir Siraj became the latest victims of it.
According to details, footballer Amir and another youngster were gunned down in North Kashmir’s Baramulla district.
Hurriyat leader Abdul Hameed Lone condemned the killing of both the innocents. He said that two youths including Amir Siraj of Sopore Baramulla were martyred in a fake encounter. “Amir Siraj was a young emerging footballer,” he added.
He said that Indian occupying forces are killing Kashmir youth in fake encounters accusing them of terrorism.
Chairperson of Peace and Culture Organization Mushaal Hussein Mullick has also expressed condolences over the martyrdom of both the Kashmiri youngsters at the hands of the Indian forces.
She said that the Indian army is “stealing diamonds from us”. She added that the Indian army feared the popularity of Amir Siraj. “Amir Siraj was an excellent footballer. He wanted to represent Kashmiris at the international level through sports.”

She further said that the Indian forces are selectively martyring the voice of Kashmiris. In the end, she urged everyone to raise their voice against the brutal killing. “Amir Siraj was obsessed with football. All the footballers and sportsmen in the world must raise voice for him.”
