Controversial social media star Mamya Shahjaffar will depict Quaid-e-Azam’s wife ‘Rose of Bombay’, Rattanbai Petite, later known as Ruttie Jinnah, in the upcoming series Fatima Jinnah.


A teaser video of the series popped up on social media during which Mamya Shahjaffar emerged in a blood-red backless dress, flaunting a short retro hairdo with curls, reminiscent of the era while offering magnetic turns with a flower in hand.





The upcoming historical series for which viewers eagerly waiting revolves around one of the most controversial love stories from the subcontinent, the Ruttie’s journey with Mohammad Ali Jinnah, her role in the politics of the time, and her bonding with Mohtarma Fatima Jinnah, sister of the founder of Pakistan Fatima Jinnah.


The just released glimpses of the teaser contain a lot, aesthetics and enigma: however, the caption of the teaser addresses the whole of the story regarding the character of Ruttiebai Petit in detail which reads: Ruttie Jinnah - The Rose of Bombay.
