ANF recovers 115kg of drugs, arrests six suspects in six operations

Anti-Narcotics Force (ANF) has arrested six suspects during six operations against drug smuggling in different cities of the country, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Wednesday.
About 115.506 kg of drugs worth more than Rs10 million were recovered in the operations.
In two different operations near Red Sun Capital Square B-17 in Islamabad 14.4 kg of opium, 70.8 kg of hashish and 12 kg of ice were recovered hidden in two vehicles and two suspects were arrested.
Moreover, 12 kg of hashish was recovered from a vehicle near Kala Shah Kaku Interchange Lahore and a suspect was arrested.
Further, 10 narcotic pills were recovered from a parcel sent from Peshawar at a courier office in Karachi.
Likewise, 6 kg of hashish was recovered from the possession of the suspect near a bus stop in Islamabad and 302 grams of ice was recovered from the suspect near Srinagar Highway Islamabad.
Cases have been registered against the arrested suspects under the Narcotics Control Act and an investigation has been initiated.
