Bottle bomb defused in Rawalpindi Cantonment

The Bomb Disposal Squad on Thursday defused a home-made bomb stuffed in a bottle in Mithu Khan area of Rawalpindi Cantonment, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
As soon as the law-enforcement agencies (LEAs) learnt about the detection of the bomb, they sealed the entire area.
Police told the media that it was alerted about the presence of the bomb, which was connected to a mobile device, on a phone call.
Police have started an investigation and are expected to get clues from the CCTV footage of the incident.
