Punjab Chief Minister Mohsin Naqvi has ordered the completion of Kalma Chowk remodelling project at the earliest. 

According to 24NewsHD TV channel, the chief minister issued directives to make functional two lanes from Liberty to Kalma Chowk within 24 hours.

The deadline for completing the project has been changed from May 15 to February 15.

Work on the Kalma Chowk project continues rapidly even at night

Earlier, all the PTI-appointed law officers including Advocate General of Punjab Ahmed Owais were removed and the Punjab government issued a notification on the recommendation of the chief minister. A total of 32 additional and 65 assistant advocate generals have been removed from the post.
