Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi praises Saudi Arabia for its support to Pakistan

Interior Minister Syed Mohsin Naqvi said on Tuesday that the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia had always stood by Pakistan during difficult times, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
Speaking to Interior Minister of Saudi Arabia Abdulaziz bin Saud bin Nayef in Riyadh, he said Pakistanis had immense respect for Saudi Arabia's visionary leadership and its people.
The interior minister said that Pakistanis had religious ties with their Saudi brethren. “On behalf of the government of Pakistan, I thank the kingdom for its support during testing times.”
Both Naqvi and Nayef had an exchange of views over cooperation in security-related matters, steps that could be taken to combat drug smuggling and other matters of mutual interest.
The minister also discussed with his counterpart enhancing cooperation in the fight against narcotics.
Pakistan’s ambassador in Saudi Arabia Ahmad Farooq, Director General Passport and Immigration Mustafa Jamal Qazi and Additional Secretary Interior Riffat Mukhtar Raja were also present on the occasion.
