An accountability court (AC) in Islamabad on Wednesday adjourned the hearing of Toshakhana and 190 million pounds (Al-Qadir Trust) references against the former prime minister and ex-PTI chairman Imran Khan and his wife Bushra Bibi until tomorrow on account of the absence of defence lawyers, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
The statements of witnesses could not be recorded in the Toshakhana case while suspects in the Al-Qadir Trust case could not be indicted either.
Judge Muhammad Bashir heard the cases at the Adiala Jail.
NAB’s Deputy Prosecutor General Sardar Muzaffar Abbasi, Irfan Bhola, Sohail Arif and others appeared in the court.
