Pakistani rupee unchanged against US dollar in interbank market

The Pakistani rupee has recorded another appreciation against the US dollar in the interbank market on Thursday but later it lost steam, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
According to the State Bank of Pakistan, the local currency went up by 77 paisas in early trading but towards the end it concluded the trading at the same rate of previous day's closing of Rs278.67.

In a key development, Caretaker Prime Minister Anwaar-ul-Haq Kakar has directed the Ministry of Energy to prepare and submit a comprehensive and sustainable plan after consultation with the Finance Ministry to reduce the circular debt of power and gas sectors.
