Qari arrested in Faisalabad for brutally beating little student for not memorizing lesson

Faisalabad police arrested a Qari (religious teacher) of a madrassa for brutally beating a little student for not memorizing his lesson on Thursday.

According to the 24NewsHD TV channel, a seven-year-old student named Asif was assaulted by his teacher, Qari Rizwan, in the madrassa located in the area of Thikriwala in Faisalabad.

The disturbing video of the brutal torture of the little boy in the madrassa has gone viral, which has sparked outrage and condemnation on social media across the country.

 The Superintendent of Police (SP) of Iqbal Division Faisalabad, Usman Munir Saifi, took serious notice of the incident after netizens' strong condemnation and arrested the accused, Qari Rizwan. 

SP Saifi assured the child's parents that justice would be served and took a firm stance against violence towards young students. 

He said the accused, Qari Rizwan, has been arrested, and legal proceedings have been initiated against him. 

The SP emphasised that such acts of violence against children will not be tolerated under any circumstances.
