A woman was wounded critically when the Indian Army resorted to unprovoked firing on the civilian population in the Karela Sector along the Line of Control (LoC) on Thursday.

Violating the ceasefire agreement between India and Pakistan, Indian troops opened indiscriminate fire on Batla Mathrani Village on the Pakistan side of the Line of Control. The Pakistan Army responded to the Indian aggression with equal force until the Indian guns fell silent.
