Woman files plea against abusive husband in SHC

A woman who was suffering domestic violence at the hands of her husband filed an application in the Sindh High Court against her abuse on Saturday, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
Petitioner Laila stated in her plea that her brother allegedly sold her to a man in the name of marriage.
The court issued notices to interior secretary, IG police, and SSP East in the case.
The court also directed the police to provide protection to Laila and her maternal uncle with whom she was staying.
