Quetta police arrest protesting doctors, paramedics near CM House

Quetta police arrested over a dozen young doctors and paramedics that had been staging a sit-in near the Chief Minister House in Red Zone for a solution to their problems, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Friday.
The protesters chanted slogans against the Balochistan chief minister, whereas, the police opened the roads leading to the Red Zone.
The protesters had been shifted to Bijli Road police station.
The Young Doctors Association (YDA) announced boycotting emergency services across the province following the arrests made by police.
The YDA spokesperson maintained that the doctors and the paramedics were holding a peaceful sit-in, adding that the Government of Balochistan was not serious in resolving their issues.
According to the YDA spokesperson, the young doctors and the paramedics have boycotted emergency services, closing the doors of the emergency wards at public hospitals.
The spokesperson also announced suspension of all medical services at public hospitals.
