Ruling Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf’s (PTI) emerging alienate group leader Jahangir Khan Tareen (JKT) Tuesday halted his like-minded parliamentarians to give any statement against the federal and provincial governments.
According to 24NewsHD TV Channel, the JKT group held a private meeting at the dinner hosted by provincial minister Chaudhry Ajmal Cheema at Badian Road, Lahore on Tuesday night.
The group leader and the members addressed the dinner and highlighted the commitments made by some PTI government personalities with them on their resolving their reservations.
They also discussed the future plan of their group and the political strategy. As per reports, the group had decided to continue its separate identity without disassociation of the mother party—PTI.
In the dinner, Jahangir Khan Tareen, central leader Raja Raiz Ahmad MNA from Faisalabad, Aon Chaudhry and Zawar Chaudhry, MNA Khawaja Sheraz, Punjab ministers Noman Langrial and Aslam Bharwana, members of the Punjab Assembly (PMAs) Saeed Akbar Nawani, Amin Chaudhary, Khurram Leghari, and Nazir Chauhan also participated and addressed the meeting.
Jahangir Khan Tareen has announced Raja Riaz as a group leader in the National Assembly and Saeed Akbar Nawani in the Punjab Assembly.
