10kg bomb defused as PM visits Peshawar

A major disaster was averted in Peshawar where bomb disposal personnel defused a 10kg bomb planted on a roadside as the prime minister visited the city on Thursday, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
The bomb was placed inside a concrete block in suburban Reggi area of Peshawar.
The security personnel have launched a search operation in the area to nab the culprits who had planted the bomb.
There was a red alert in Peshawar city due to Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif’s visit to the provincial capital on Thursday.
