Karachi Police nab couple for holding elderly woman 'hostage'

Karachi West police Division have rescued an elderly woman, who was captivated by her own son and daughter-in-law in West house Society, reported 24NewsHD TV.
Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) West Suhai Aziz said that an elderly woman held captive by her son and daughter-in-law.
The accused were identified as Jamil Ahmed and Jamila.
The son and daughter-in-law kept the frail old woman locked in the house and kept her on drugs.
The couple had kept the woman to get the house or plot located in Khipro (taluka of district Sanghar).
Police took action and arrested the accused upon receiving the information and shifted her to the hospital for medical treatment.
Case No. 1055/2021 registered against the arrested accused and police have launched further investigation into the matter.
