Sindh governor for making FPCCI president honorary state minister

Sindh Governor Kamran Khan Tessori has requested to Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif to appoint Federation of Pakistan Chamber of Commerce and Industry (FPCCI) president as honorary minister of state, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Tuesday. 

In a letter to the prime minister, he has pointed out that in several countries of the world, leaders of the business community are assigned ministerial portfolios. “Not only this bridges the gap between traders and the government, but also creates an opportunity for the former to give their input in the formulation of trade policies,” he said, and added, “Hence their confidence increases.”   

Requesting the premier to accept his suggestion, Sindh governor said this would also build the image of the government as a business friendly government.
