Two arrested for illegal hunting in Chakwal

Two illegal hunters from the Chakwal region were detained on Tuesday by Wildlife and Fisheries Department Punjab on suspicion of violating wildlife rules, reported 24NewsHD TV Channel. 

The Department has recovered and confiscated illegally hunted Urials, weapons, and meat from the accused hunters. 

The poachers were produced before the local magistrate court along with their possessions for further legal action. 

As per Chief Secretary Punjab, “Zero Tolerance on illegal hunting. Strict Directions given to District Administration and Wildlife Department to stay vigilant and violators be dealt in accordance with law without any discrimination.”
