Public service delivery check: CM visits Toba Tek Singh, Jhang

Chief Minister Mohsin Naqvi paid a visit to the Toba Tek Singh district, the 24NewsHD TV channel reported on Tuesday.
Flanked by Chief Secretary Zahid Akhtar Zaman and Inspector General of Police Dr Usman Anwar, the chief minister took a round a remote police station.
The absence of officials in the police station invited his ire. The chief minister inspected the procession of applications at the front desk and interacted with complainants and the accused in custody.
Later, he visited the District Headquarters Hospital. He enquired after the patients and interacted with the attendants.
He reviewed the treatment facilities provided in the hospital during his visit to the various wards.
Talking to the media, he reiterated his resolve to ensure better public service delivery.
He said he is on a mission to improve healthcare facilities in hospitals across the province and for this purpose, his team is day and night.
He told the media that the shortage of medicines in the hospital will be overcome at the earliest.
He expressed satisfaction and praised the local administration especially the deputy commissioner and DPO, saying they are doing well.
During his visit to Jhang, he toured Ghulam Nabi Hospital and inspected the under-construction block.
He issued directives to complete the block at the earliest and told the media there that the 310-bed hospital is being expanded. medicines are being provided in the hospital and it would be a 510-bed healthcare facility after the completion of the ongoing project.
