Punjab okays border allowance for Kacha Area officials

Punjab Chief Minister presided over a meeting of the provincial cabinet on Tuesday.
The Punjab cabinet has okayed border allowance for officials posted in Kacha Area in districts Rahimyar Khan and Rajanpur.
The cabinet okayed Rs25,000 monthly allowance for inspectors, assistant sub-inspectors and sub-inspectors, Rs20,000 for constables and head constables, and Rs18,000 for grade 4 employees.
The allowance will be given during posting in the Kachha area and it will be terminated as soon as the transfer is made. The allowance will cost more than Rs3 annually.
