Moonis Elahi criticises timing of Cambridge exams in Pakistan

Pakistan Muslim League-Q leader Moonis Elahi said that on one hand, educational institutions across the country are closed due to the threat of coronavirus and on the other hand, Cambridge exams have started from Monday (today), reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
“If these examinations can be postponed in other countries, why not in Pakistan keeping in view of the health and future of the children,” Moonis said.

It may be mentioned here that despite the opposition from students and activists for the cancellation of CAIE exams amid a current wave of coronavirus.
Federal Minister for Education and Professional Training Shafqat Mehmood said that these are tough times and difficult decisions have been made keeping the student's best interest in view.
