Thick fog: Motorway closed, flights cancelled, rescheduled

Due to thick fog motorway has been closed and several flights at Lahore airport were cancelled and rescheduled on Sunday.

According to the 24News HD TV channel, the fog in different cities of Punjab especially in Lahore has faded again.

Observing the low visibility in the thick fog, the motorway police closed the motorway M-3 from Faizpur to Samundari.

While thick fog in Lahore on Sunday morning affected flight operation at Allama Iqbal International Airport as two flights were cancelled and 11 were rescheduled.

The visibility at the airport was reduced to 800 meters and five flights were delayed.
