Six flights cancelled as fog blankets Lahore Airport

Dense fog on Tuesday morning not only disrupted traffic on motorways and highways, but also disturbed the flights’ schedule, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
As many as six incoming and outgoing flights at Lahore’s Allama Iqbal International Airport had to be cancelled while more than 16 were delayed after fog at the airport’s runway reduced the visibility to 350 meters.
Saudi Airline’s flight SV-734, heading from Jeddah to Lahore, SV-735, heading Lahore to Jeddah, DV 849, from Almaty to Lahore, OD 131, from Kuala Lumpur to Lahore were cancelled.
Similarly, Sri Lankan Airline’s flight UL 185, heading from Colombo to Lahore, and Lahore to Colombo flight UL-186 were also cancelled.
