Journalist Hasnain Murder Case: Both shooters, schemers arrested, weapons recovered

Lahore City Division Police have arrested both the shooters, their informer and schemer involved in the Journalist Hasnain Shah’s murder case on Wednesday.
According to the 24News HD TV channel, the police have arrested the shooter identified as Haider Shah and his co-accused and recovered weapons used in the killing from them.
The local police also arrested the man named Amjad Pasha who was following the journalist Hasnain from his office (Capital TV) to Lahore Press Club and giving guidelines to shooters from time to time.
The sources said that the arrested suspects have been handed over to the CIA police for further investigation.
The sources said that both the shooters are allegedly employees of Aamir Butt who is an owner of the Gold Asia Jewellers in Lahore.
Haider Shah has been employed by Aamir Butt for 7 years and Amjad Pasha for 10 years. Aamir Butt has also given his apprehension to the police.
Murdered Hasnain Shah, a crime reporter of the Capital TV (Lahore), was shot dead at Davis Road on Monday, January 24, 2022.
According to eyewitnesses, two unidentified assailants on motorbike number LER-303 opened fire on journalist Husnain Shah and gunned him down at the spot.
The journalist was going in a car when he was shot dead. However, the attackers managed to flee away from the scene.
Punjab IG took notice of the incident and sought a report from CCPO. Province top cop ordered the immediate arrest of the accused.
Lahore Press Club office bearers and the journalist community strongly condemned the murder of a journalist and held a protest demonstration at Shimla Hill.
