Punjab cabinet takes oath, CM Mohsin congratulates his team

Punjab cabinet Thursday took oath at the Governor Hosue in Lahore as Punjab Governor Balighur Rehman administrated the oath from the new cabinet members.
According to the 24News HD TV channel, Punjab Chief Minister Mohsin Naqvi approved the names of 11 members cabinet in which eight members took the oath and the other three members will take oath on Friday.
Health expert Dr Javed Akram, senior journalist Amir Mir, Bilal Afzal, SM Tanveer, Ibrahim Murad, Dr Jamal Nasir, Mansoor Qadir, and Syed Azfar Ali Nasir took the oath. Former bureaucrat Naseem Sadiq, Wahab Riaz, and Tamkinat Karim will take oath tomorrow.
Punjab CM Mohsin also participated in the swearing-in ceremony at the Governor's House and congratulated his cabinet members.
CM Mohsin said the caretaker setup of Punjab is completely apolitical and neutral.
He said conducting free, fair, and transparent elections is their responsibility and they will fulfill this duty in good manners.
The CM assured the nation that the elections in Punjab will be held in a peaceful environment.
The sources said Dr Javed Akram is likely to be given the Ministry of Health, Amin Wains Ministry of Interior, and Naseem Sadiq is likely to be given the Ministry of Food.
The sources said in the first phase, Interior, Information, Finance, Law, Food, Health, and other ministers will be a part of the Punjab cabinet.
A notification of the appointment of the provincial ministers has been issued with the signatures of Punjab Chief Minister Syed Mohsin Raza Naqvi and sent to Punjab Governor Baligh-ur-Rehman.
