Rain brings more chill to weather in Islamabad, Gujrat and AJK

After a long dry spell, rain was reported in twin cities of Islamabad and Rawalpindi along with Gujrat and various areas of Azad Kashmir on Friday, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
The Met Office forecast rain in Chitral, Dir, Swat, Malakand, Kurram, Waziristan and in various areas of Punjab, Balochistan and Sindh. A remarkable drop in cold spell and fog was seen in rain-hit areas.
Met Office recorded minus 10 centigrade temperature in Skardu, minus 6 in Astore, Kalam and Gilgit, minus 3 centigrade temperature in Chitral, Dir, Malam Gabba and Rawalakot.

During next 24 hours, there is no chance of rain in Lahore. With decline in smog, air quality index was recorded at 186 AQI. Currently Lahore remained the 6th most polluted city of the world.
Cold and windy weather continued in Karachi where minimum temperature was recorded at 14 centigrade.
