Ashura: SCP announces public holidays on Muharram 9, 10

The Supreme Court of Pakistan (SCP) has announced public holidays on the 9th and 10th of Muharram (July 28 and 29) on account of Ashura, the 24NewsHD TV channel reported on Tuesday.

Chief Justice of Pakistan Umar Ata Bandial has approved the holidays for Supreme Court judges.

The Apex Court Registrar has issued a notification in this regard.

According to the registrar’s notification, Supreme Court will have holidays from July 28 to July 29.

The holidays will also apply to Principal Seat Islamabad and Provincial Branch.
