Army captain, soldier martyred as security forces kill 5 terrorists in Peshawar operation

Security forces conducted an intelligence-based operation in Peshawar and killed five terrorists and injuring three on Sunday.
According to the Inter-Services Public Relation (ISPR), during the intense exchange of fire, Pak Army officer Captain Hussain Jahangir and Havaldar Shafiq Ullah were martyred.
The operation was carried out in the Hassan Khel area of Peshawar following reports of terrorist presence.
Security forces effectively located the terrorists' hideout, resulting in the elimination of five terrorists and injuring three others.
A clearance operation is ongoing to eliminate any remaining terrorists in the area.
ISPR reported that Captain Hussain Jahangir, who led the operation, hailed from Rahim Yar Khan while the 36-year-old Havaldar Shafiq Ullah was from Karak district and is survived by his wife, one son, and two daughters.
The ISPR said, "Our brave soldiers' sacrifices strengthen our resolve. The forces are determined to eradicate the menace of terrorism".


Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi pays tribute to martyred soldiers


Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi paid tribute to the bravery of martyred Captain Hussain Jahangir and martyred Havaldar Shafiqullah in the operation against terrorists in Hassan Khel area of Peshawar.
Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi said that martyred Captain Hussain Jahangir and Shaheed Havaldar Shafiqullah foiled the nefarious intentions of terrorists by sacrificing their lives.
He said the martyrs of the country are our pride and the nation will always remember the sacrifices of them.
The Interior Minister expressed his heartfelt sympathy and condolences to the families of the martyrs.
