PIA seeks bids for flight catering services in UK

Pakistan International Airlines was likely to get permission for UK operation as the national carrier administration has sought bids for flight catering services in the United Kingdom, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

PIA is making preparations to operate 22 weekly flights from Pakistan to Britain. The national carrier has sought bids for 6500 meal packs for 9 weekly flights from Manchester Airport while 7500 meal pack bids were demanded for 10 weekly flights at London Airport.

For 2 weekly flights to Birmingham Airport, bids have been sought for 2200 meal packs. The interested companies are directed to submit technical and financial proposals till June 27.
