The Provincial Development Working Party (PDWP), a forum of the Planning & Development (P&D) Board Punjab has approved a total of Rs36.61 billion for 4 development schemes of different sectors.

According to the 24News HD TV channel, the PDWP meeting was held under the chairmanship of the Board Abdullah Khan Sumbal on Friday.

The meeting was attended by P&D Secretary Mujahid Sher Dal, members and some of the senior officers of the relevant provincial departments.

In the meeting, a budget of Rs840 million have been approved for the purchase of the accelerator along with the provision of allied facilities in the oncology department of Jinnah Hospital Lahore.

The meeting approved the release of Rs9.85 billion for the Punjab Poverty Graduation Initiative and Rs156.4 million for the Punjab Home Based and Domestic Workers Survey 2022-23.

As per the report, under this survey, the Punjab government will get information about domestic workers across the province.

The PDWP meeting also approved Rs25.76 billion for the up-scaling of the Green Pakistan program under Phase-I of the 10 Billion Tree Tsunami Program.
