Football world cup fever grips Liyari 

FIFA World Cup 2022 is taking place in Qatar but there is a huge fan following in Karachi residential neighbourhood in Karachi—Liyari—where the craze for the mega event is at an all-time high. 

Lyari is a congested residential neighbourhood of Karachi, also known as, ‘Mini Brazil’ due to its residents’ matchless for football.

A video is making rounds on social media platforms, where people were enjoying, dancing on drumbeats in the background of music and festive lights at a football ground in Liyari. 

Locals have installed large screens in different areas to enjoy the matches.
