Six of seven siblings born at same time died in Abbottabad

Six of the seven siblings born at the same time Tuesday died at Jinnah International Hospital in Abbottabad. The seventh child is also in a critical condition.

According to the 24News HD TV channel, the children were shifted to the nursery ward of the hospital but couldn’t survive due to health problems.

The seventh child has also been shifted to the Ayub Medical Complex in critical condition.

Relatives of the dead children claimed that their death was the negligence of doctors.

The maternal uncle of the dead children talking to the media said that doctors had not informed the parents about the death of the children.

He also claimed that when they asked about the reason for the death of children, the doctors said that they were died by the reason of a virus in the nursery ward.

A week ago, a woman Rukhsana 34 years old has given birth to seven babies, septuplets, at a private hospital in Abbottabad. 

The children born to the woman included four sons and three daughters. Rukhsana and her husband Yar Mohammad were already parents of two daughters before the birth of the septuplets.

Initially, the doctors said that the mother and her septuplets were in good health.
