While accepting the appeals of former interior minister Sheikh Rashid and his brother Sheikh Siddique, a court Wednesday nullified the decision of a civil judge in the Laal Haveli case, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

Additional District and Sessions Judge Khurshid Alam Bhatti accepted the appeals of former interior minister Sheikh Rashid Ahmed and his brother Sheikh Siddique Ahmed in the Laal Haveli case while nullifying the civil Judge’s decision and sending the case back to the civil court for the hearing.

Advocate Sardar Abdul Razzaq Khan represented the applicants in the court.

The advocate stated that the Laal Haveli is the personal property of Sheikh Rashid’s brother Sheikh Siddique and it has nothing to do with the properties of the Evacuee trust board.

He also stated that the present government is conspiring to take away the Laal Haveli from the rightful owners on the base of some rooms adjacent to it which are also in legal possession of Sheikh Siddique as he bought them from the previous owners.

The Government is retaliating against Sheikh Rashid as the civil judge dismissed the case without fulfilling any of the legal requirements.

The court, accepting the owners' appeals nullified the civil judge’s decision after listening to the arguments and sent the case back to the civil court for the hearing.
