Nauman Ijaz reveals why he chooses to attend Toronto show

Nauman Ijaz was spotted at the recently held Hum Awards 2022 despite not having much trust in the award-giving procedure or the lavish festivities that take place because his son Zaviyar Nauman Ijaz won the Best Sensation award there.

Zaviyar shared some pictures with his father and wrote a note under it thanking his fans and showing his love towards his dad, “It was my father’s dream to have his dad (my dada) be present when he received his first award, unfortunately he passed away before my father became a star. Today, I received my first award and I was lucky enough to have my father & mother present there in the crowd watching me and cheering me on. I could not have asked for a better night and a better moment. Thank you so much everyone for showing up to the event and cheering us on. We as actors are nothing without our supporters, I truly love you all.”

Since Nauman Ijaz has always believed these prizes to be fake, eyebrows were undoubtedly raised, and bad remarks were made.

He has continuously called attention to the shortcomings of award ceremonies and never backs down when criticizing how they frequently give out prizes to only their favorite performers rather than actual talent. Additionally, he has discussed the dramas that happen in behind the scenes of these shows.

Previously he also questioned the judges' methodology for determining who contributed more to a project and how they reached their conclusions for whom should get award.

Since the Lux Style Awards marked the beginning of Pakistani award ceremonies on a regular basis, little has changed. In the past, there have been award ceremonies, but they took place in the background. Later, Hum joined in with its own awards, the Hum Awards, as well as the Hum Style Awards.

Many times, people go unrecognized, and it's a widely held opinion that the amount of followers on social media also affects the outcomes for various actors. Along with openly criticizing award shows, several actors have done so, including the renowned Nauman Ijaz.
