Notorious dacoit killed, two arrested in Karachi police encounters

One notorious dacoit was killed and two others arrested in injured condition during two police encounters at Hassan Bridge and Ibrahim Hyderi area in Karachi, 24NewsHD TV Channel reported on Sunday.
Police sources said that both arrested dacoits were later identified as Amir and Nawab, who were involved in different incidents of dacoit and robbery.
Police sources said that both arrested accused target the citizens by taking advantage of darkness. Police started the process to identify the robbers with the help of CCTV footage.
Police hoped that both accused were involved in various robbery incidents in the area. Police recovered two pistols and a motorcycle from their possession.
Soon after the incident, the police team shifted the injured dacoits to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital for first aid.
In another encounter, one wanted dacoit was killed during an encounter with police in the Ibrahim Hyderi area. The dacoit who was identified as Shoiab was a professional criminal, according to police records.
During the encounter, the police team remained unhurt. Sources revealed that around 18 cases were registered against the dead dacoit.
Police started a search operation to apprehend the colleagues of the dacoit.
