14-year-old girl raped at her home in Arifwala

There is no let-up in the incidents of rape being reported from different parts of Punjab as a man raped a 14-year-old girl in Arifwala, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Saturday.

Police said that Awais entered Amina’s home in Khyaban-e-Sharif area in the limits of Rang Shah police station of the city while she was asleep and subjected her to rape at gunpoint.

When the girl raised hue and cry, Awais fled from the scene, the Force informed.  

Police further said that a case had been registered against the man on the complaint of the victim’s mother after the medical report confirmed that the rape had been committed.

Police said they were optimistic that they would soon arrest the rapist.

Youth shot dead at Pakpattan for ‘property’

A youth, named Saqib Raza, was gunned down in Purana Thana area in the limits of Kalyana police station, in the outskirts of Pakpattan, over a land dispute.

Police said they were investigating the case and would soon arrest perpetrators of the crime.
