Showbiz celebrities urged people to come out and share the burden of calamity-hit people via reliable charities as authorities declared flood emergency after hundreds of casualties and millions displaced by intense rainfall and floodwaters across the country.
Ahsan Khan, Faysal Quraishi, and Faiza Khan took to Instagram to raise their voices.
Faysal Quraishi has drawn attention to the surge in tent costs following this catastrophe. He said one of his friends went to the market to buy waterproof tents but was shocked to see the inflated prices. "The same tent which was available at Rs7500 before the floods, now reached Rs14500."
Faiza Khan, an actress, also exhorts the entire nation to help the flood victims in whatever manner they can.

Ahsan Khan posted a video showing the area where his drama series "Mere Ham Nasheen" was filmed before and after it was wrecked.
Other celebrities are also giving directly out of their own pockets. The revenues from planned public events, a concert, a play, and a comedy show by singer Abrar ul Haq, director Kanwal Khoosat, and comedian Shehzad Ghias Shaikh will be donated to flood relief efforts. Hadiqa Kiani is already running her campaign for the flood-affected people.
